Insight #6: Look into the Spiritual Energy not the Religion – Ajmer Sheriff – Vaishnadevi – Leh. 11/04/2021

Dargah-Ajmer Sharif..Temple-Vaishnadevi.. Gurdwarah/Monastry-Leh

Sounds exceptional..but it was Profound and Exhilarating!!!.

Last week of September 2016, we flew from Bangalore to Jaipur.  It was a long time desire to visit Ajmer Sharif.  The time arrived and made a trip to Ajmer, explored the old town Ajmer,  Pushkar lake, with the laser desire to visit Ajmer sharif.

My daughter Rusha left to USA in 2015 for higher studies.  Visited her in Jan 2016 to satisfy my senses of assurance in terms of  the safety, security, health and social/academic well-being to the extent of our reach. As witnessed and internalised that many things actually were beyond my reach, was frantically trying to reach my prayers to Almighty..My dormant religious and active  spiritual bent kicked in!!

At Dargah

Fortunately, we had a person ( Saibal’s friend Jadav’s contact) who added  a special Ajmeri flavour by treating us with Khadi Kachaudi and Rabri lassi apart from a safe and guided tour to the Dargah with tit bit stories of Ajmer.  A funny thing happened as we were about to offer the rose chaddar on the shrine, the lights went off and I tightly held my bag close.  I was really clueless in that peach darkness, caught between safety and the offerings for a moment.  But came out satisfied with no glitches in my offering there after.

Then we went to Jammu en route Delhi.  It was a very memorable stay.  I have still not visited Kashmir and this was the closest I could connect to that state.  We took chopper ride to Vaishnadevi both ways.  Walked about 4 kilometres while going from the flying point to temple and galloped back on horses.  They were actually galloping and running, giving us  adrenaline rush unlike horse riding experiences in other tourist spots. Quite a concurrence as Jai Mataji Darshan and prayer was on point with additional experience of chopper ride next to pilot and actual horse riding.

The last leg we flew from Jammu to Leh in Air India I suppose.  Oh my God.. the barren beauty from the sky and obviously on the land of heaven, could not match my any other travel experience.   Took Coca – 30 in the flight as suggested by friends to get acclimatised to the high altitude and thinner oxygen level.

Every spot from monasteries, confluence of Zanskar-Indus, stupas, Changla pass to breathtaking pang gong lake were just heavenly, out of the world experience.  Monstries were serene with stories imbibed in every nook and corner.  The distinct colours of water at the confluence and the shades of mineral clan barren hills gave a fantastic hue at the confluence of Zanskar-Indus.  Every extraordinary achievement calls for good amount of effort.  The Pang gong Lake was a great sight to see and feel through.  The beautiful blue-green shades of cool and clear water  was just out of the world.  Leh trip was indeed a treat to our all senses.

I am sure, many of you have visited these places and made lifetime memories in your ways.  My experience of getting close to divinity in diverse forms was highly liberating !!!

I need this bit of spiritual rejuvenation time to time. It helps me resonate with my Harmonious SELF once more..

Happy connecting to Super Energy.. Love you All!!
